Welcome to my campaign website.
I have updated this website to reflect something of what I did in June.
With summer in full swing, I have been spending much time on my family in outdoor activities. Heather and I spent Satureday mornings at the Henniger athletic fields, for example, watching our kids play in the Eastwood Youth Soccer League. A mfew hotos from one of these mornings can be found in the "In the Community" section.
The "In the Legislature" presents detailed reports on two current County projects. One of these describes the new on-line catalog that is expected to be activated in late October at the Onondaga County Public Library. Users of all OCPL libraries--the Central Branch, City Branches and Member Libraries alike--will benefit from this project. As Chairman of the Legislature's Education and Libraries Committee, I have been intimately involved in getting the new catalog going.
A second topic highlighted in this month's update is an extension to the Onondaga Lake Trail, which moves us a bit closer to completing a circuit around the lake.
As always, it is my intention to use this site to keep my 7th District constituents up to date on my activities in the Onondaga County Legislature, as well as to give my take on Onondaga County government news.
This is a campaign, rather than a legislative site. As such, it is definitely not paid for at government expense. I am running for re-election in the fall. I expect to prevail after a tough campaign.
